The planning commission of India has yet again redefined the poverty line in the country. This time they have stooped to yet lower levels to show the UPA government’s performance in poverty alleviation by showing the sharpest decline in poverty in the past 9 years. This is a case of crooked creating accounting to benefit the politicians who have been looting the country for so many years.
