Pakistani Terror Groups Disappear

One Pakistani newspaper had recently reported that the major Jihadi groups in Pakistan have disappeared. All their offices have been found either closed or shifted. Many of the Jihadis are either hiding or are absconding. They are not issuing any statements against the actions taken by the Pakistani police and army against the Lashkar -e-Toiba.

How come such a situation be arrived, that there are no Jihadis found inside Pakistan within days of the Mumbai Terror attacks. How is it possible for them to shut down their training and shelter camps within days of the Jamat ul Dawa being banned by the Pakistani government after clear directions from the UNO. Their can be many things that could happen –

  1. The Pakistani media is trying to project a picture of the Pakistani government and the Pakistani Army wherein they have taken stern actions against the perpetrators of the heinous acts of terror undertaken by these organizations recently or in the past in Indian territories.
  2. The ISI has helped them find good hiding places so that the army can’t find them so easily.
  3. They have indeed gone into hiding for the time being and will be joining hands with the ISI again for other such strikes in India and other parts of the world.
  4. There is a network of all the Jihadi organizations and they run it professionally like any other organization. The group is called The United Jihad Council (UJC), says the Times of India in their article – Major Jihadi groups have disappeared says Pak newspaper

The United Jihad Council (UJC), formed in 1994, comprises of top terror groups such as Harkat-ul-Ansar, Hizbul Mujahideen, Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen, Al-Jihad, Al-Barq, Ikhwan-ul-Mussalmin and Tehrik-ul-Mujahideen. “Following the Mumbai attacks and the subsequent tension between Pakistan and India, the United Jihad Council has decided to remain silent,” reports The News International quoting a commander of one of the UJC member organisations who requested anonymity.

There may be many other theories but for now this many would be enough.

India – going the Lean Way

India is going the Lean Way. Yes, that is true. The Indian government had in the recent past initiated the Industrial Development program that included multiple initiatives for the development of the Indian Manufacturing Industry. The government organizations and ministries have initiated many programs for the uplifting of the Indian Small, Medium and Small Enterprises (MSME). Some of these programs focus on inculcating best manufacturing procedures in the industry in terms of better technology and better efficiency machines while some other focus areas are – world class manufacturing & management principles.

One of these programs will focus on inculcating among the MSME some of the practices of the Toyota Production System. The Toyota Production System has many tools / ways to manage their daily operations like inventory management and production planning and control etc. Any process that a production company needs to take care of are also common place in Toyota too. Hence TPS can be used for any type of industry as this system has been tried and tested by Toyota successfully for so many years now that Toyota is now the number one in its field – automobile. The Toyota Production System is also termed as Lean Management / Manufacturing by some quarters of the industrial analysts.

This term ‘Lean Management’ was coined after a study conducted by the MIT research team as it found out that the TPS was based on the basic principle of taking maximum output by wasting the minimum resources. So, Lean Management basically means reducing waste from all the walks of work involved in the work place.
Given the records of the Indian Manufacturing Industry, their resource utilization has always been among the lowest worldwide. This is the primary reason for the Indian Manufacturing Industry being left behind the competition in many sectors although the quality of products are at par with others in many cases. What the industry lags behind is – in the untimely delivery and costly products compared to other competitor countries like China and others. So, only to equip the Indian MSME with the latest technological knowhow was not sufficient for making the country’s manufacturing industry competitive against the rivals who have been following the best management and manufacturing principles invented and practices worldwide. What was needed was to inculcate among the indigenous manufacturers the practices of management followed by the top tier manufacturing companies in the manufacturing business. What can be the best example in the manufacturing business than the Japanese manufacturers who are not only technologically advanced than their world wide competitors but also follow the best management principles to maintain their competitive advantage on all fronts of productivity, effectiveness and quality.

Hence the practice of ‘Lean Management’ has been introduced as a field of management where the Indian government departments responsible for development of industry in the country want to emphasize upon. So, the MSME Development Institute, Mumbai has taken up the initiative to start the ‘Lean Leader Training Program’. The Small, Micro and Medium enterprises from around Mumbai were invited for the program after payment of a minimal fee of INR 10,000 for a candidate.

Letter to the Indian Prime Minister – by the Editor of Times of India

The terrorist attack on Mumbai by the Pakistan based terrorist outfit L-e-t has created much anger and frustration among the resident Mumbaikars. This is being shown in the media, blogs around the world and protests being organized around the city. One of the traditional ways to show protest has been to write a letters to the highest office in the organization – in this case the Indian Govt. Here is the original text of a letter written by the Editor of ‘The Times of India, Mumbai’ to the ‘Prime Minister of India’.

Dear Mr. Prime minister,

I am a typical mouse from Mumbai. In the local train Compartment which has capacity of 100 persons, I travel with 500 more mouse. Mouse at least squeak but we don’t even do that. Today I heard your speech in which you said ‘NO BODY WOULD BE SPARED‘. I would like to remind you that fourteen years has passed since serial bomb blast in Mumbai took place. Dawood was the main conspirator. Till today he is not caught. All our Bollywood actors, our Builders, our Gutka king meets him but your Government can not catch him.

Reason is simple; All your ministers are hand in glove with him. If any attempt is made to catch him everybody will be exposed. Your statement ‘NOBODY WOULD BE SPARED’ is nothing but a cruel joke on this unfortunate people of India. Enough is enough. As such after seeing terrorist attack carried out by about a dozen young boys I realize that if same thing continues days are not away when terrorist will attack by air, destroy our nuclear reactor and there will be one more Hiroshima. We the people are left with only one mantra. Womb to Bomb to Tomb.

You promised Mumbaikar Shanghai what you have given us is Jalianwala Baug. Today only your home minister resigned. What took you so long to kick out this joker?Only reason was that he was loyal to Gandhi family. Loyalty to Gandhi family is more important than blood of innocent people, isn’t it?

I am born and bought up in Mumbai for last fifty eight years. Believe me corruption in Maharashtra is worse than that in Bihar. Look at all the politicians, Sharad Pawar, Chagan Bhujbal, Narayan Rane, Bal Thackray , Gopinath Munde, Raj Thackray, Vilasrao Deshmukh all are Rolling in money. Vilasrao Deshmukh is one of the worst Chief minister I have seen. His only business is to increase the FSI every other day, make money and send it to Delhi so Congress can fight next election. Now the clown has found new way and will increase FSI for fisherman so they can build concrete house right on sea shore. Next time terrorist can comfortably live in those house , enjoy the beauty of sea and then attack the Mumbai at their will.

Recently I had to purchase house in Mumbai. I met about two dozen builders. Everybody wanted about 30% in black. A common person like me knows this and with all your intelligent agency & CBI you and your finance minister are not aware of it. Where all the black money goes? To the underworld isn’t it? Our politicians take help of these goondas to vacate people by force. I myself was victim of it.

If you have time please come to me, I will tell you everything. If this has been land of fools, idiots then I would not have ever cared to write you this letter. Just see the tragedy, on one side we are reaching moon, people are so intelligent and on other side you politician has converted nectar into deadly poison.

I am everything Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Schedule caste, OBC, Muslim OBC, Christian Schedule caste, Creamy Schedule caste only what I am not is INDIAN. You politician have raped every part of mother India by your policy of divide and rule. Take example of former president Abdul Kalam. Such an Intelligent person, such a fine human being. You politician didn’t even spare him. Your party along with opposition joined the hands, because politician feels they are supreme and there is no place for good person.

Dear Mr. Prime minister you are one of the most intelligent person, most learned person. Just wake up, be a real SARDAR. First and foremost expose all selfish politicians. Ask Swiss bank to give name of all Indian account holders. Give reins of CBI to independent agency. Let them find wolf among us.

There will be political upheaval but that will better than dance of death which we are witnessing every day.

Just give us ambience where we can work honestly and without fear. Let there be rule of law. Everything else will be taken care of. Choice is yours Mr. Prime Minister Sir. Do you want to be lead by one person or you want to lead the nation of 100 Crore people?

Terror attack on Mumbai – challenge to Indian Security

I have been following the terror attack on Mumbai since the last night and it is not showing a sign of calming down. This is the biggest attack on the city after the terror attacks of the January 1993 serial blasts. This attack comes after a series of terror attacks in the countries various locations – New Delhi, Gujarat, Malegaon ( Maharashtra), Assam and the latest being in Manipur. It was quite obvious after the Delhi attacks that Mumbai would be the Next target. They had already attacked the center of power and would go for the center of economic activity next. This was well known to the government and the security forces but, there were no security arrangements made to check these things.

How can the forces be so careless that terrorists come in boats laden with explosives and attack the prime locations within the city all simultaneously. This only shows that meticulous planning has gone into the activity and that it is a handiwork of International terrorist organizations. This has also been confirmed after interrogations and investigations into the origins of the email sent by the so called ‘Deccan Mujahiddin’ that the email had been routed through a fictitious IP address in Russia and the all the terrorists had come into India the night before from Pakistan.

The terrorist caught from the Trident Hotel(oberoi) has been confirmed of being of Pakistani origin , he being from Faridkot in Pakistan.

The terrorists have shown by the extent of the attack and the intensity of the casualties undergone that they are hell bent on proving that they can attack any target in India and that there is nothing that the security forces of the country can do to stop them. This is a challenge not only the security forces of the country but also to the sovereignty of the country. This only shows that the free Indians are not free to live even within their own country.

The only good thing that has come out of the attack is that the security forces have shown that they will not negotiate with the perpetrators of the attack on any account and are determined to either catch them alive or kill them inside the buildings.

Till now the government at the center has been taking these things lightly and not giving it as much importance as it seeks. They have not given heed to it because they think it is only the common man who is affected by these attacks. They have been till now showing the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi – show the other side of your face if you are slapped on one side. They have been showing the terrorists that how many attacks you many undertake but we can keep on bearing the brunt.

But now the time has arrived to show them the message that we are no cowards and that we can take any challenge how great may it be. Now we need to change the government so that its policies can no longer come in the ways of tackling the menace of terrorism head on. Now the governments at the center and the states need a major overhaul and the policies need to be changed. We need strict laws to deal with such situations and give them the strictest of punishments to teach them the correct lessons.
